Sawmill Brewery + Smoko Room

The Smoko Room in the Sawmill Brewery is a place for conversation, community, food and drink. We are open 7 days a week from 12pm until late.

Visit the Smoko Room inside the Sawmill Brewery for generous hospitality, locally sourced food, New Zealand wine and 15 beers on tap.

In the Smoko Room you can find real food. Our menu celebrates the farmers and growers we work with. Ingredients are ethically sourced, seasonal and availability is often weather dependent.  Our cheeses, olive oil, kaimoana, beef, bread, olives, fruit and vegetables are largely sourced from the Mahurangi region.

Stop in for a pint or laze away the afternoon over a long lunch. Happy of Hour every weekday from 3pm – 6pm. Live music every 3rd Friday of the month from 4pm.

We are located 3km past the roundabout in Matakana. Open 7 days a week from 12pm until late. Dinner bookings welcome from 5.30pm onwards.
